I believe my experience as an archaeologist and GIS specialist gives me a strong advantage in the MLIS arena because I have a comprehensive understanding of the kinds of GIS resources that professionals in the private sector (i.e. historic preservation, urban development, etc.) require in order to perform their work.

Duties include:
  • Oversee physical serials collection
  • Manage claims
  • Process incoming serials issues (i.e. check-in, stamp, shelve, circulate).
  • Copy catalog new monographs
  • Data entry tasks (i.e. digital repository)
  • Assist with data clean-up projects, as directed
  • Elected duties:
  • Voluntary duties:
    • Serve as a sitting member on the Library Accessibility Task Force (ad hoc.)

Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (since Sep. 2015)

Riding High Farm
Allentown, NJ

I provide special needs riders with recreational and therapeutic instruction.

Duties include:

  • Prepare lesson plans, which include measurable objectives.
  • Develop monthly and quarterly goals for clients to meet.
  • Ensure that the client develops a skill during each horseback riding lesson or other equine-assisted activity.
  • Maintain PATH Intl. safety standards with every lesson.
